How to change the volume on your iPhone
In iOS 16, Apple removed the volume slider from the player that appears on the lock screen during music playback. Then a lot of people did not appreciate the innovation, because in this situation they constantly had to use buttons or call the control center. In iOS 18.2, the slider was returned after all. However, now you need to enable it in the settings :
- Open the “Universal Access” section in the iPhone settings;
- Select”Audio visualization”;
- Activate the “Always show audio adjustment”switch.

Otherwise, you are limited only by your imagination. By the way, on the iPad in the same app, you can create a small sketch using Apple Pencil, and the neural network itself will finish the rest of the details.
How to create an emoji on iPhone
In iOS 18.2, you can not only generate images based on words, but also create your own emojis, which will become your personal exclusive. Just enter the text request that you want your smiley face to look like, and the system will create it.
However, there is one small problem. If Genmoji will be displayed correctly on the iPhone and other Apple devices, then this is how it will look on gadgets from other manufacturers — a big question. Most likely, the recipient will see just squares or even get a picture instead of a smiley face.
ChatGPT on iPhone
Most of all, some users are waiting for the integration of ChatGPT into Siri. Just enter your account from the OpenAI neural network in the smartphone settings after activating Apple Intelligence, and you will be able to send requests to ChatGPT.
This feature will work even in Russian, but only if you are typing for Siri, and not using voice commands. Just write “Find via ChatGPT” and the request will be processed safely. I already tried this feature on macOS 15.2 and I can say that it works perfectly.
Search using your phone’s camera
For the iPhone 16 line, an exclusive Visual Intelligence feature will appear in iOS 18.2. When the Apple Intelligence neural network is activated, just click on the Camera Control button, point the camera at the object you need, and the system will tell you everything about it.
For example, just point Visual Intelligence at a restaurant and you’ll find out its opening hours, read reviews, and even view interior photos. Keep in mind that, like all AI from Apple, Visual Intelligence works exclusively in English.
